Policy & Procedures

The activities of FPSE are governed by policy and procedures developed democratically by Local delegates at each Annual General Meeting.

Presidents’ Council, comprising each local president and four provincial officers, directs FPSE’s affairs between AGMs.

This manual is a compilation of policies approved at Annual General Meetings from 1980 through 2024.

Constitution

FPSE works to ensure that its policies and practices operate in harmony with the protocols of the Nations in whose territories it operates. Indigenous knowledge and resources are the property of the Nation from which they originated. We recognize that colonialism is embedded in all of our organizations.
