The Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC is pleased to present an online forum asking, “How can we create a safe space for dialogue, teaching, and research in times of conflict?” Five experts in conflict resolution, restorative justice, mediation, academic freedom, and depolarization will explore how we can reach across our differences to create mutual understanding in an era of geopolitical conflict, culture wars, and increasing polarization. The speakers will explore various approaches to creating the conditions for constructive dialogue and respond to questions from the audience.
